Boca Paila
Boca Paila is a beautiful fishing - beach lodge located below Tulum about 3 hours from Cancun. This is the oldest fishing lodge of the Yucatan Peninsula and is famous for their excellent food and service. Nice beach bungalows are situated on a private beach close to the surf. The guides fish with their clients in the Sian Kahn Lagoon system, Ascension Bay and at the Belizean reef. This area is better known as the Land of the Grand Slam! Accommodations have been upgraded recently. This area is one best places to catch a Permit on a fly. Also a great place for non – fishing companions, at Boca Paila you can make excursions to the Mayan ruins, snorkeling at the reef and bird watching in the Sian Kahn reserve.
